  11. This is a simple control panel for enabling and controlling the
  12. iPort video and serial adapter for iMacs. This is an evaluation
  13. version and no guarantees are made for its suitability or stability.
  14. Feedback on compatibility issues are aprreciated and can be sent
  15. to eval@griffintechnology.com.

  17. This software must be placed in the Control Panel folder in your
  18. System Folder in order to operate properly. You should also restart
  19. your machine after installing it.

  21. The iPort control software registers the serial port of the iPort. It
  22. also allows the selection between the iPort and infrared port. You
  23. cannot use both at one time. Finally it shows whether an external
  24. monitor is connected.

  26. System Requirements
  27. In order to use iPort control you need an iMac with a Griffin Technology
  28. iPort video and serial adapter installed.
